Oh,The Fun of Creating

This red and black jackety shawl was made from a beautiful burnout silk. It can be worn in several different ways, buttoned at the shoulder, allowing the shawl part to drape to the side, or with one side thrown over the shoulder. It is made to wear to a more formal event, something dressy.

I would love to share felting ideas together, so come sit in my little cafe and have a chat with me.

  1. I like your new header. Your garments are so gorgeous! Really unique. I would never have opportunity to wear one out here on the farm but I'm sure you could sell them. I have tried a tiny bit of nuno felting, my first attempt was beautiful but so thick it is just a big piece of felt. I used a picture of it in the header on my blog. I was trying to make a scarf. My second attempt was better, lighter, I gave it away and my third attempt was just right, I kept it. Just scarves, I can wear scarves. Did you teach yourself? What a lot of work! But worth it, from what I can see.

  2. Cameron you have created some more amazing jackets/wraps. I agree you should find an outlet for your work.

  3. Thanks to both Jan and Sue for your wonderful comments. I am having to look for outlets as my "hanging up area" is running out of room. We all need encouragement, and I so appreciate it from you. Hugs

  4. Good luck with finding an outlet. We have a website called "Not on the Highstreet" do you have that in the USA? or something similar. I am glad you liked the jacket that I photographed, it looks so like your work.
